The American Bully is a recently formed companion dog breed, originally recognized in 2004 by the American Bully Kennel Club and followed by the European Bully Kennel Club in 2008. It has been recognized by the United Kennel Club since July 15, 2013.

THE BREED
American Bully:
Despite its intimidating figure, largely thanks to its heaving mass of muscle and bone, the American
Bully is actually quite fun-loving and surprisingly affectionate. While they are often confused for both
the American Pit Bull Terrier and the American Bulldog, the American Bully is a distinct breed,
although they are closely related to the other two breeds. They are known to be highly intelligent, eager
to please, good working dogs and great with children, wary of strangers, and some of the most lovable
family dogs out there when properly trained and socialized. Because of all that and more, this breed is
quickly becoming one of the most popular around.

We take pride in our breeding standards, with hundreds of awards and recognition's behind our family name.
Some of the most well-known Bully bloodlines are Razor’s Edge, Gotti (or Gotty), Remyline, Gaff,
Monster G, Greyline (or Grayline), Kingpin, Mikeland, Camelot, Midwest Monstas and our very own
Boss Linez. These are a few names that have some of the best quality American Bully Blood for
breeders seeking to brood stock, working dogs, and for pet companion owners.
We created Boss Linez after 15 years of selectively breeding original stock Bloodlines made up of
Razor’s Edge, Gotti, Greyline, Camelot, Remyline, Mikeland & Midwest Monstas.
Each dog is given 2 years minimum to fully mature and participate in professional UKC, ABKC,
OBBA, ABI, NKC, AMA, and soon to be CBKC shows and or working events. This allows us the time
to prove our dogs structures, functionality, temperament and health. Our goal is to preserve the breed
and follow ethical breeding practices set out in the original written breed standards. Our Bloodline has
achieved many titles and awards and we continue to grow our pedigree with quality over quantity at the
forefront.

STANDARDS
American Bully Standards:
Background: The American Bully breed was established in the 1990s with the purpose of creating the ultimate family companion.
The American Bully was created by selective breeding of the desired traits from the American Pit Bull Terrier and the American Staffordshire Terrier. The American Bully also may have a subtle influence of the American Bulldog, English Bulldog and Cane Corso.
General Appearance: The American Bully is a short smooth coated dog. There breed characteristics are a compact, strong, thick set structure and build.
